The Complete Care Bundle is designed for people who are coming home with significantly reduced mobility and need their home to be properly equipped from day one. It covers bathroom safety, pressure care, toileting, dressing, and fall prevention — the five areas that matter most in the first weeks after discharge.

We put this bundle together based on what occupational therapists recommend most frequently for patients being discharged after orthopaedic surgery, stroke, or extended illness. Rather than receiving separate items over several days from different suppliers, everything arrives together so you can focus on what matters — the recovery.

• Raised toilet seat with handles — for safe, independent toileting without excessive hip bending
• Commode chair — for those nights when getting to the bathroom is not safely possible, or when the bathroom is too far away during early recovery
• Pressure relief cushion — for use in the armchair or wheelchair during daytime sitting, reducing pressure sore risk from the first day home
• Sock aid — for independent sock application without bending
• Long-handled dressing aid set — dressing stick, shoehorn and button hook for independent dressing
• Grab rail — one stainless steel grab rail for installation beside the toilet or in the shower for secure support

A Note on the Grab Rail

The grab rail included in this bundle requires wall installation. We recommend having it fitted by a local handyperson or builder before the person arrives home. If you need advice on positioning, an occupational therapist or your district nurse can advise — or feel free to ask us.
